Uninsulated Side Drum Heaters are models bereft of heating jackets but are intended for the role of heating and sustaining an internal temperature to deal with certain substances. When combined with insulation, this range is well suited for melting soaps, fats, and oil-based products, or controlling their viscosity.

These models are rated to a range of between 800 and 1500 Watts, and have a holding capacity of between 25 and 200 litres.
