Hitachi Shirokuma Single Split
HItachi's single-split wall-mounted Shirokuma air conditioning units are ideal as a high performance but unobtrusive design. Both advantages unique to Hitachi such as Constant Power technology and its double fan blade design allows it to serve effectively as a heat pump and air conditioning unit, making it perfect for homes and private offices alike.

- Double fan blade system, allowing for a comfortable airflow without the unpleasantness of a swinging fan.
- Stainless prefilters and Active Carbon filters remove odours and pollutants thanks to the use of silver ions.
- The frost wash self-cleaning system eliminates up to 94% of mold, pollen, and bacteria which forms on the heat exchanger's surface by trapping and freezing them.
- Extremely quiet noise output of 20 dB(A) to limit local disruption.
- A motion detector allows the Shirokuma to track local movement, limiting airflow if no one is present, and redirecting it if they are standing close by.
- Each unit can be controlled via a smartphone or iPad thanks to Hitachi's Hi-Kumo app, for complete adjustment of all of its systems.
- Hitachi's Constant Power solution can significantly enhance the unit's role as a heat pump, letting it maintain heating down to exterior temperatures of -15°C
