Hitachi's centrifugal VRF system is unusual because the ducted condensing unit is completely hidden inside the building, either in a false ceiling or concealed behind the facade.

The radial fan is controlled by a variable frequency driver to maintain sound levels between 52 to 56dB(A).Â
Smart defrost control shortens the defrost time to extend the heating period while a large external static fan pressure up to 120 Pa helps achieve a sound power level up to 6900 m3/h
