Thai manufacturer Siam Compressor Industry has been producing compressors since 1990. It started production of scroll compressors in 2002 and ships 800,000 scroll compressors every year. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsuibishi Electric Corporation.

Energy Efficiency
The integration of a SCI inverter can reduce energy consumption by 27% (compared with a conventional fixed-speed driver). The operating envelope is also increased, making it possible to reach higher speeds. High speed control improves speed and performance at higher speeds while close loop sensorless vector control delivers total high performance and efficiency.

Inverter drives are pre-tuned at the factory to meet the specifications set in advance by the customer. Multiple compressors models can be operated using a single driver. Multiple built-in protection features include under and over voltage protection and discharge temperature protection.

Quality control is assured from the initial design process through to manufacturing, with premium-grade parts selected and 100% approved by Mitsubishi Electric. Inverters are robustly tested under extreme conditions with a 10 year lifetime at ambient temperatures from 50°C to 60°C 

Worldwide Safety Standard Compliance
Inverters are approved for use in all major global markets, including the UK, Europe and North America. Specifically, CE compliance includes EN 61800-5-1 (Driver) & EN 61800-3 (EMC).
