High Limit Bimetallic Safety Thermostats from Fenwal Controls

Made in the US, high limit thermostats from Fenwal Controls offer a high quality, accurate and rugged safety device for actuation temperatures up to 288°C.  

The snap action thermostats are customisable with a range of flexible mounting styles and terminal types/positions to meet the production requirements of individual manufacturers. 
  • SPST contacts - open or close on temperature rise
  • Fast thermal response
  • Probe and surface mount types
  • Excellent resistance to high temperature environments
Built to be durable, each hermetically designed probe can withstand tough environments, including the heat, grease, high humidity and moisture experienced by commercial kitchen equipment.
Certified to international standards, Fenwal thermostats are widely used in commercial catering equipment, such as fryers, griddles, ovens and conveyer ovens. 

Other applications include food processing, domestic hot water boilers, plastics processing and packaging and HVAC applications. 

Fenwal thermostats are also used to protect CAT scan machines from overheating with a robust design capable of handling the centrifugal stress of rotation, vibration and high heat.

Customisable design options
Thermostats are available with a wide choice of mounting configurations and brackets. 

Different vertical or horizontal terminations include eyelet, Quick Connect or flying leads (in parallel or opposed).
Testing
Individually calibrated and tested to meet thermal and electrical requirements. 

Failures are minimised using production techniques such as a single contact switch arm assembly to reduce contact contamination
Failure resistance
Hermetically sealed and tamper-proof, Fenwal thermostats are built to withstand vibration and harsh environments. 

Durable housing construction materials are used, such as stainless steel, brass, contamination resistant ceramics and aluminium finished with glasswork and epoxy seals
Resistant to high contact force
Probe style models resistant to high contact force while the excellent wiping action of the contacts combine to make the probes suitable for light loads of 100 milliamperes or less
