Bright Ideas Available at The HVACR Show

Hawco will be discussing two big issues at The HVACR Show which takes place in January; the need for greater energy-efficiency and how to make the switch to R32.

Our team will be offering expert advice and sharing their in-depth product knowledge to help visitors address these challenges.

And we will also be offering everyone with the chance to try a deliciously smooth Nitro coffee, the latest trend in coffee drinking.

New Ideas for Better Energy Management

Energy-efficiency is at the top of the agenda for food retailers – and this affects the manufacturers of cold rooms and refrigerated display cabinets as well. We have invited four pioneering suppliers – Hitachi, LU-VE, Kulthorn and Self – to present their latest energy-saving solutions, some of which have never been seen in the UK before.

Any one of these technologies could help supermarkets to make meaningful reductions in energy consumption. Together, they could make a significant contribution to cutting energy bills every year.

Among the technologies on show, we will explain how LU-VE’s intelligent defrost system calculates the best time to schedule the next cooler defrosting.

We will demonstrate how the latest EC fans react to a change in temperature with a series of variable and programmable speeds.

Free Advice on Getting Started with R32

We will be talking to engineers visiting the show about the inevitable replacement of R410A with R32 to help them separate the facts from the myths about R32's mild flammability. We will also answer any questions about Hitachi’s excellent range of R32 split-level air conditioning systems.

With the help of Javac, we will explain which tools are essential for working with A2L refrigerants – and we will have their entire range of new service equipment, including manifolds, recovery units, vacuum pumps and gas detectors, on display.

Wey-TEK HD Wireless Scales

Some new Javac tools have been specifically designed with A2L safety in mind. For example, the WEY-TEK HD wireless refrigerant scale can be controlled at a safe distance of nine metres by using a smartphone app and Bluetooth connection. It also records information about every refrigerant charge so the data can be sent electronically to the customer or back to an office location for full f-gas traceability of used and recovered refrigerant.

And Don’t Forget About the Coffee

With so much to see, we know that walking around The HVACR Show can be thirsty work! On the Hawco stand, we will be offering visitors some respite with a refreshing Nitro coffee.

Similar to iced coffee, Nitro coffee is infused with nitrogen which gives the drink a distinctive creamy head – making it look like a glass of Guinness. It has a naturally sweet, smooth taste and it is said to have a bit more caffeine, making it the perfect way to help visitors get around the rest of the show.
