• Better product conservation – it has been shown that in conditions of heavy duty, the product temperature can remain for long periods well above that recommended for correct storage; the FLEXICOLD function ensures that this does not happen and therefore allows excellent conservation

 • Energy saving – having a control that automatically adapts to the situation also means being able to set the control parameters to achieve maximum system efficiency and consequently lower energy consumption: maximum power only when necessary

 • Longer compressor life – when working conditions become difficult the compressor usually has to start up frequently; with the FLEXICOLD function it is possible to have a more efficient control and by increasing the switchover hysteresis also limit the number of compressor starts, thus reducing the wear and tear

The parameters that may be differentiated by the FLEXICOLD function are;

• the setpoint
• the hysteresis
• the frequency of defrosting
• intermittent working of the fans

The alternative values used for heavy duty situations may be set for a lower setpoint temperature, a greater hysteresis to reduce compressor starts, lower or nil frequency of defrosts to avoid further hindrance to maintaining best storage conditions and continuously active ventilation for faster cooling of the product.
